Trevor Gale Dip.ASK

I qualified as a Systematic Kinesiologist in 1991 and went into full-time practice in 1995, seeing clients on a referral basis.  In 1998, I started teaching Touch For Health and have been a SAK tutor teaching Systematic Kinesiology since 2003.  In addition to my training in Kinesiology, I also have qualifications in massage, aromatherapy, and I have the Football Association certificates for the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries.  In 2001, I was appointed as one of the five Trustees of ASK.  My on-going professional development is particularly focused on the structural and biochemical aspects of kinesiology and the use of electromagnetic energy for dealing with structural and electromagnetic conditions.

Sally Prestwich PhD, Dip.ASK, Associate ICAK-UK, ILTM

I qualified as a Systematic Kinesiologist in 1995 and started teaching the Systematic Kinesiology Foundation and Diploma courses the same year; completed my clinical competence and the 100 hours ICAK-UK Applied Kinesiology course in 1998.  In 2001 I became a Trustee for the Association of Systematic Kinesiology (ASK) and founded the ‘School of Advanced Kinesiology’ (SAK).  During this time I rewrote and updated the SAK Diploma course to incorporate new techniques acquired from ICAK.  I also teach courses on primitive reflexes, in addition to other postgraduate teaching.  I am a member of the learning and teaching Institute (ILTM) which is now part of the Higher Education Academy.

During the weekend and evenings I see clients on a referral basis, and during the week I work as a Lecturer at St George’s, University of London where I teach pharmacology and physiology to medical, pharmacy and BSc students, as well as paramedics and nurses.  I also run a special study module entitled the ‘Integration of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) with conventional medicine’.  One of my long term aims is to encourage all medical students to discover CAM therapies by experiencing them, looking at research studies and anecdotal evidence.  This will enable them to then use this knowledge proactively, either alongside conventional therapies or as an alternative, when treating their patients.

I am presently updating my nutritional knowledge to BSc level; listen to self help CD’s by many speakers including Caroline Myss, Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer as well as attending various Kinesiology and functional biochemistry courses to continue my professional development.

Beatrix Goodman Dip. ASK., I.O.N. Cert., Reki Master, Austrian Energy

I have been interested in working with Subtle Energies for more than twenty years, practising Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi-Gong and Dowsing initially. The urge of wanting to broaden my horizon increased dramatically after the birth and challenges of my son in 1991 and I started to learn about Reflexology and Massage. In 1995 I began my formal training in Systematic Kinesiology in London and started my practice in Surrey. Since then I have trained and incorporated several other therapies like Nutrition, Bach Flower Therapy, Reiki & Seichim/Master, Indian Head Massage, Aqua-Detox and postgraduate training in Kinesiology.  Furthermore, I have been an instructor for the Academy of Systematic Kinesiology and have been teaching Kinesiology in Central London, Surrey, Bristol and Sevenoaks. Since I relocated to Wadhurst, East Sussex in 2003 I have been busy setting up my new practice and courses in Indian Head Massage, as well as teaching Kinesiology up to Diploma level. I have also undertaken studies in Bio-Chemistry, Homeopathy and EFT/Emotional Freedom Technique as well as organising body/mind/spirit health events in Kent & East Sussex. The latest development was to train in and incorporate Austrian Energy Therapy/Körbler Symbols with which remarkable results can be achieved!

Julia Johnson Dip. ASK

I trained as a systematic kinesiologist in 1991 which stimulated my interest in natural therapies and the integrated approach to healing.
As kinesiology embraces all aspects of health – emotional/structural/chemical/energy I developed my interest in each of these areas and undertook training in nutrition, massage, reiki, spiritual healing, emotional freedom technique, emotrance, life coaching, chakra balancing, and have a particular interest in personal growth. I use kinesiology to bring it all together and it forms the basis of my treatment. I am just as enthusiastic about kinesiology now as I was when I first discovered it in 1990 and enjoy  tremendously teaching it to others, and have taught the Foundation Course regularly since  1994.

Yvonne Diment Dip. ASK. Raw Dip.  ITEC. Bsc. PGCE

I am a fully qualified teacher with over 20 years experience. In recent years I have qualified in a range of complementary therapies and have been building my own practice since 2005. I have started to teach some Adult Education Courses in a range of therapies. I obtained my Diploma in Systemmatic Kinesiology in 2006 and have decide to combine my skills to teach the Foundation certificate. I am continuing to build my knowledge of holistic therapies as I integrate my skills into my practice. Kinesiology is proving to be the central therapy which holds the package together. I also do some voluntary work as a therapist at my local Hospice.

Mary Jago Dip. ASK.

I have been interested in complementary health since the birth of my (now grown up) daughters.  I ‘discovered’ Kinesiology about 10 years ago since when it has helped me and my family through a wide variety of problems ranging from dyslexia and food intolerances to headaches and heart problems.

Before retraining as a kinesiologist 5 years ago I was a linguist and worked successively as secondary school teacher, adult education language teacher and co-ordinator and as a language consultant for Linguaphone.

I trained initially here in Exmouth and then followed the Practitioners course with the Academy of Systematic Kinesiology in London.  I have recently obtained my Diploma in Advanced Kinesiology.  I now practise from home.

I have been teaching kinesiology for the last two years and delight in sharing the amazing potential of kinesiology with students.
