NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) level 111 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology
The basis for any healthcare training providing the underpinning knowledge of the following systems:
- Skeletal
- Muscular
- Histology (cells and Blood)
- Circulation, heart and lymphatic system
- Neurological including neural pathways, central nervous and autonomic system and brain
- Digestive
- Respiratory
- Skin
- Endocrine, hormones and glands
This can also be taken as a certification and does not require attendance, however the NVQ diploma does require one assessment day at the college centre in Sussex at the end of the course. It is important to understand that the difference between the certificates is that it has been approved by the Association of Systematic Kinesiology as well as the Kinesiology Federation only and is not an internationally recognised qualification such as the NVQ diploma. Therefore if you wish to do other healthcare subjects you may be required to have a recognised A&P qualification such as the NVQ.
